Use IJIF records with the context appropriate to your decision
This disclaimer explains the intended scope of IJIF journal-level records, public information and certificate verification.
Understand the scope of IJIF records
IJIF provides journal-level evaluation records based on the criteria, information and evidence applicable to the stated evaluation year. The information should be interpreted in that context.
Journal-level information
An IJIF Score or journal record relates to the journal and evaluation year shown. It is not an assessment of every individual article, author, editor or institution associated with that journal.
Independent decisions
Admission, promotion, funding, accreditation, indexing, employment and similar decisions may be governed by separate institutional or regulatory requirements. Users should verify the requirements relevant to their own decision.
Information may change
Journal websites, publisher information, editorial policies and other public information can change after an evaluation has been completed. A year-specific record should therefore be read as a record of the stated evaluation context.
External websites
Links to publisher or other external websites are provided for reference where relevant. IJIF does not control the availability, security or content of independent third-party websites.
